    Health Reform Coordination

    In order to successfully leverage the many tools in the ACA to achieve their own goals for health reform, states will need to take a coordinated approach that cuts across organizational lines.

    The ACA contains many interlocking provisions that will have a collective effect on health systems and outcomes. The law makes changes that, together, will influence coverage, access, quality, costs and health status through insurance regulation, public program eligibility, health services delivery and payment, and data collection and transparency among others.
