Keep Up With the #nashpconf on State Refor(u)m and Twitter

During next week's 24th Annual State Health Policy Conference, hosted by the National Academy for State Health Policy, you will be able to follow the conference content from afar like never before. Three  State Refor(u)m social media fellows will attend conference sessions and plenaries and tweet about major topics and discussions taking place over the three-day meeting.

Watch for the the hashtag #nashpconf to get all tweets about the conference, and use it yourself if you're in attendance and are a social media fan!

And keep an eye on State of Implementation for blog posts from the fellows reviewing key points highlighted during the conference.

Coordinating Implementation on State Refor(u)m

Connecticut: Public Act 11-58, An Act Concerning Healthcare Reform

This legislation establishes the state's Health Care Cabinet and directs it to advise the governor and the Office of Health Reform and Innovations. The bill calls for the cabinet members to include: a community health center representative and an insurance producer representative selected by the governor; the lieutenant governor; commissioners of several executive-branch departments; and members named by both the minority and majority leaders in the state legislature. Oregon: Oregon Federal Health Care Initiatives by Year

The Oregon Health Authority recently posted a very detailed health care reform implementation workplan. This cross-agency implementation plan orders initiatives by priority and chronology. It sets goals for the state and relies on agencies from across the government. Does your state have an implementation timeline? Share it!
