Working
on upgrading your eligibility systems to get ready for 2014? To
draw-down enhanced Medicaid funding, states need to prepare an
Implementation Advance Planning Document (IAPD). Louisiana shared
its CMS-approved IAPD today. This is the first one we've gotten our
hands on and hope other states will borrow from it where
possible. It includes plans for real-time determinations of
eligibility for Medicaid and LaCHIP programs via an automated,
web-enabled interface.
